The Privateer Lynx comes to Monterey. The 122-foot clipper schooner Lynx,
modeled after a ship from the War of 1812, will offer dockside tours on
April 17 from 4-5 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults and are free for children 12
or under. Boards at the public dock at the end of Fisherman's Wharf,
Monterey. Additionally, passage is available from Monterey to Pillar Point,

Sea Otter Classic. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, April 17-20, at
Laguna Seca Recreation Area, 1025 Monterey-Salinas Highway 68, Salinas.
Four days of the world's largest cycling festival with 10,000 professional
and amateur athletes, festival shows, live music, food, bike racing, a
carnival for kids and more. Tickets: $10/day or $30/four days. Kids under

"Pacific Groove Night." 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 18, in downtown Pacific Grove.
More than 50 Pacific Grove businesses will host a scavenger hunt and open
house with music and a prize drawing. Participants can pick up game cards

Hosted by the California Peninsula chapter of the American Society of
Interior Designers (ASID), this self guided tour explores the decor of homes
designed by ASID members and students in Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the-
Sea, Carmel Highlands and Carmel Valley. Tickets are $40 and can be
